If you accept a bet, then you should just suck it up whatever it is. All of this 'I won't accept this or that' or it has to be decided by the poster proposing the bet, or I'll compromise and do so and so .... Beta behaviour.
I agree with this. If you are gonna partake in a bet, then you need to get any rules or conditions ironed out BEFORE the terms are agreed and the bet is made. You cant just agree to the bet and then try to change the conditions after the bet has been made, thats bullshit. For example, Fosse should have stated, "ok ill agree to the bet, but no sick **** in our avis, no ****s or serial killers or anything gross" Then if Munse agrees to those terms a bet is made. But you cannot start making up your own terms after the conditions have been agreed, thats welching.
Can I also remind bets, that I'm not responsible for doing any avi's. I will do usernames as I know you can't do that. Anyone with any principles shouldn't do bets
The bet was with Munse - the avi should have been one that Munse created ... I had no bet with the poster that came up with a Saville avi and would not have entered into any bet with that particular poster. I only do what I consider 'fun bets' or charity bets ...
Get ready to change mine and tobes and peejs next week bro. Ill let ya know nesrer the time what they will be called
If those terms were clearly agreed prior to the handshake then its not a welch, if not then it is, in my view.
You got off lightly mate. Taking the two #peasants usenames next week will make me undisputed not606 champ of year long username bets.
So like for example if i said to you, lets have username bet for a year, and you decide when you lose that you dont want to do a whole year but just the season, even though i have it in writing the bet was for a full year. Would that be welching? Asking for tobes
That would be a prime example of welching yes If he misunderstood "year" to mean "season" then thats on him
@Peej is still in denial btw. Gonna hit him hard next weekend, i reckon hes gonna flounce tbh Two years please log in to view this image
There was no small print that stated that the avi had to be created by the individual involved in the wager... although I guess "loser forfeits own avi for one provided by winner" is open to intrepation ... but personally I wouldn't enter an avi bet then not have the fun of coming up with the avi myself if I won ... no point to it...
