I haven't followed all of this saga (makes me sad, so been watching drugged up athletes instead). However, has there been a formal approach at all, let alone a specific bid?
I’m not sure how many more “it’s getting close”, “it’s imminent” posts I can do. Spurs love dragging **** out, don’t they? Lol.
Weirdly enough, take Bale's wage and combine it with Kane's and we could actually afford to pay Messi without our wage bill increasing. He'd earn twice to twelve times as much as anyone else in the squad but who cares when they've won sweet FA?
And he’d have the incentive of trying to be part of the first team to win the ECL. If that don’t seal it I don’t know what will.
A few days too late Harry. I bet he isn't going into the specifics. In other words, oh yes, I am definitely trying to leave,
I think Nuno has made clear things have not gone to plan. Harry needed to speak BEFORE the Grealish transfer news.
Took him 4 days to come up with that ****e "Wouldn't do anything to jeopardise my relationship with you the fans." What...apart from making it public that you want out of the club with 5 games of the season to go when we had a chance of CL qualification? Trying to play a misunderstood victim ffs...just apologise or STFU yer spoon. Sometimes saying nothing is better that throwing meaningless clichés around...just saying Harry...just saying.
The timing of it all really does seem odd. He could’ve posted something like this within 24 hours of the rumours. Those rumours were pretty damning and questioning his professionalism and I’d assume people would want to clarify a situation immediately. Leaving it 4-5 days and with it also being just 24 hours after City have spent a fortune on Grealish whilst Messi has become a potential transfer target for clubs, it does feel like somewhat of a “cover all bases” type of post, not ruling out a City move but also trying to save face with Spurs fans should a move not materialise. I’d like to believe him but as I’ve said, the timing really is poor.
