I wouldn’t read too much into the squad numbers. Wright was number 26 when he signed if I remember correctly.
Aye. not uncommon for a player to go "back" to an old number. Stephen Fletcher went from 26 to 9 then back to 26 Think Catts did the same
Bailey Wright was number 5 at Bristol City as well. He was 26 here as we had a number 5, then he took it when we didn't

We could be starting this season with two signings from the PL. Evans looks like the captain we've needed for years. We have bids in for other players and I'm still convinced Jebbison will be here unless we sign another forward. We have someone over from France on trial, at the moment, according to a lad who's told me a few things before. So it's all starting to fall into place and the 'no full backs' chant seems to be dying down .... ... we could be in for the season we wanted 4 years ago.
