I don't buy food or drink while I'm in the ground so the voucher is irrelevant to me. But I don't feel affronted by it. It wasn't intended to upset anybody. I have a 15% off voucher for the Club shop too - I assume everyone else has got one of those? My particular one is only valid for one weekend in September, and to a maximum purchase of £100. But I might use it if I don't forget. I know in certain quarters (not on this forum) the fact that we still have a Club to support at all has become old news. But gratitude for that fact is still my overwhelming emotion, and I make no apology for it. 5 days to go - UP THE ADDICKS!
The use of the voucher is embarrassing. The shop is closed on the Sunday so you only have two days to redeem it, the shop will be rammed on the Saturday so fans will give up seeing a queue. Are they expecting people to take the Friday off work?! A shambles, and to think numerous people would have discussed this idea
