That's the gist of it. Though I would say that people joining Dick's new forum were not technically 'leaving' ITTV. As far as I know all of them still have active accounts there, and probably still post there too. They just decided they might like to spend a little time on more than one forum - as many of us do
Really? I don't visit there anymore. Is it because BB gets slaughtered every time he posts something? Or does he pick arguments. I have to say, BB doesn't post anything on ITTV or Dick Plumb's forum that annoys me personally. I can understand some other members not giving his rumours much credence. But that's a fair way off totally ruining a thread...
think there were few more more on there ruined it long before BB come along but nothing gets said about them … they need to be careful because BB worked in investigation ie online bullying etc etc
just add … I have been looking on CL for a while now don’t post because the people on there vile , horrible individuals who are like sheep follow each other not one can think for themselves .. when someone like BB who been involved in football for many many years comes along they don’t like it cause he actually knows what he talking about .. and take it from me he has very good contacts .. he got my son a chance at Norwich and few others who he managed one went to Gillingham and one to Millwall he done everything he could for the boys … He very well in at Welling on the youth side … just don’t like seeing good people get treated like he does .. it’s bullying and intimidation
He's well accepted in Dick's forum. No-one has any problem with him. That's good, surely? No-one can doubt his Charlton credentials.
That's probably true! But after years, and now that the sour old conflicts are (pretty much) over, I don't think he means any harm. BB's fierce and single-minded defence of the Club against any and all detractors used to irk me back in the bad old days of RD and KM, because it seemed like he was supporting them. But his steadfast tone has never changed. He is just as fierce in his support for the Club and his willingness to challenge any negativity now that Thomas Sandgaard is the owner. I think this shows his position is not really linked to the ownership. He is totally devoted to the Club. I may not agree with him sometimes, but I have to admire that quality. We are all devoted to Charlton Athletic, and we express that in different ways. I always admired your boycotting stance Elfs during the bad times. I wish I had been as steadfast.
Perhaps (and possibly fortunate)you're not as stubborn and principled as me. After my twinge 12 months ago I'm back in the fold. My first round for a 606 get together.
I have stopped posting or reading the debates part of the forum. This followed a private message exchange which made it impossible for me to moderate there anymore. Also I felt it best that I stop posting my views. I'll continue to post and update in the stats sub-forum there, as I know some members like to view those, and I try to make all my stats related material freely available to as many Charlton fans as possible. This remaining contribution will not (hopefully) be interpreted as acting against ITTV.
