Hillsborough Inquests: CCTV tapes went missing after match - BBC News Never explained. Nobody ever held to account.
Very sad news re. Andrew Devine RIP The coroners inquest has ruled he was unlawfully killed as a result of injuries suffered at Hillsborough, making him the 97th victim

The extreme, staggering, perverse extent that the establishment will go to protect masons just can't be underestimated. The families could fight another 32 years, but fundamentally, nobody will ever have to face the consequences of what they've done when judges can be bribed and cajoled to defend their own whatever the circumstances.
Yeah, I literally cried reading the piece. I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but it's hard not to think the CPS didn't deliberately feck up the criminal prosecution (twice). All they had to do was follow the lead of the second inquest and the inquiry. That the didn't was astounding. Injustice after injustice after in injustice and the families face it with such grace and determination. I don't think I have their bravery.
I won't be watching the programme. I don't think I currently have the mental strength for it. While doing the rounds of flower-taking to family members in the cemetery before Christmas, I came across Anne's plot. It was covered with red and white flowers, flags flying high and heartfelt messages. I said a prayer and walked on. I couldn't believe that I could feel so emotional for someone I didn't personally know. RIP Anne and Kevin Williams
