Any excuse for an old joke.

Two lip-reading deaf guys walk into a pub. One turns to the other and says, "You go find a seat...I'll get the drinks in".
He walks up to the bar and says, "Bartender, could I please have two pints of lager?"
"Certainly," replies the barman, "That'll be £15."
"Fifteeen pounds?" gasps the deaf guy, "That's a bit steep!"
"Oh, we've got some music on tonight," explains the barman, "That includes your entry fee."
The deaf guy starts doing the twist and asks, "Is it Boogie Woogie?"
    "No."
The deaf guy does his best John Travolta impression and asks, "Is it Disco?"
    "No."
The deaf guy shrugs his shoulders, "Well...what is it then?"
    "Country and Western"
The deaf guy laughs, picks up his drinks and brings them over to his friend.
"How much were they?" asks his friend.
    "Fifteen pounds."
"Fifteen pounds?" gasps the friend, "That's a bit steep!"
"Oh, they've got some music on tonight," explains the first deaf guy, "That includes our entry fee."
The second deaf guy starts doing the twist and asks, "Is it Boogie Woogie?"
    "No."
The second deaf guy does his best John Travolta impression and asks, "Is it Disco?"
    "No."
The second deaf guy shrugs his shoulders, "Well...what is it then?"
The first deaf guy laughs, "Some **** from Preston."

Tickets for Hull City’s pre-season friendly against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light are now on sale.

The warm-up match will take place this Friday, 30th July, kick-off 7:00pm.

Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for Over-65s and Under-16s.

Anyone under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.

Wheelchair users and ambulant disabled supporters are entitled to bring a personal assistant free of charge. Personal assistants must be over 18.

As tickets have only just arrived with us, and therefore we cannot guarantee arrival by post in time, tickets can only be purchased from Tiger Leisure and must be collected in person.

Tickets will not be available from Sunderland on the day.

Hope we don't hear too much crap from football clubs about financial hardship, given their lack of flexibility and consideration for the people who pay their wages.

It's almost like they're doing us a favour by allowing us to watch.

Afternoon all, when the match kicks off it will have been 513 days since I've seen the ground up close and personal only glimpse I've seen of it is going down the M61 to the M6, usually play cricket on Saturday's but as luck would have it no game on 7/8/2021. It will be good to get back and also welcome you strange folk from Yorkshire.

I think that's fairly standard? If they allowed members to buy at will other members would maybe go without.

There's at least 3,000 away seats at Preston, there's zero chance of anyone missing out, putting any limits on ticket sales is just daft.

I think they only open up for as many tickets as requested, due to the cost of stewards etc. Didn't we get an initial allocation just shy of 2,000? I doubt they'll sell out, but I'm not sure of the arrangements for getting additional tickets if they're needed, or if there is time.

As I wrote on another thread - I don't know if Covid will affect this but, Preston is/was one of the grounds where you can walk into their ticket office and buy tickets (how ****ing novel eh?) on the day. it might be worth a phonecall to Deepdale for anyone struggling for a ticket.
