Once you realise that the only “benefit” of smoking is to satisfy the craving then it’s relatively easy to give up. You’ll not miss it.

Alcohol on the other hand gives us a pleasant feeling and enhances social occasions so there are benefits that you may miss. Just make sure to control it and not have it control you.

Part of the snazzy NHS health app will be used to monitor what you buy from supermarkets and how you travel to work.

It's brilliant, pick up a bag of apples and a cucumber instead of a meat pie and a can of coke , walk instead of driving to work and you will be rewarded with a voucher for free entry at the cinema or some other treat from big daddy government.

It hasn't mentioned what the app will do if you buy 3 bottles of wine 20 fags and tracks you all day at the pub .

They want to micromanage every aspect of our lives for our own good of course .

Freedom of choice will not be tolerated .
