He's fine - cough and a sore throat. Appears to be carrying his positive result as a badge of honour amongst his friends :emoticon-0138-think

Nether are these yet instead of condemning all corruption You only bother with one side wake up they are all at it

Sir Keir Starmer pledged to help clean up British politics hours before campaigning in a by-election caused by the resignation of a Labour councillor convicted of housing fraud, it has emerged. The Labour leader visited the Polthorne estate in Plumstead with London mayor Sadiq Khan on Monday, pressing voters to endorse Labour Starmer’s visit came after he dropped in at the Evelyn Community Store in Deptford, where he said there was a “a shared, cross-party need to uphold standards in public office” – a reference to the allegations of cronyism and corruption enveloping Boris Johnson’s Conservative government.

Since the pointless face masks have been made non compulsory, the cases nose dive.

It isn’t a surprise to me. Not only have 2 billion of the gastly things already ended up in our oceans, I believe they were a factor in spreading COVID-19.

    The figures speak for themselves.

I think it's more to do with vaccines and antibodies TBF, still no guarantee they'll keep dropping. Wearing a mask where loads of people are breathing indoors makes sense to me, shame it wasn't earplugs as well for some folk.

Some projections were anticipating that the current wave would peak around the 18th July, so it could just be that they were right.

Masks come off and the cases drop immediately.

How do you feel about the damage they are doing to our oceans and environment?

Aye I've seen that, some were saying it could be a lull before more exponential growth, some were talking about an August peak. That's science I suppose.

I don't think the decrease has anything to do with face coverings and masks, I think it's down to mass vaccination. Globally as it's a pandemic, more unvaccinated people are dying and going to hospital. Crack on and argue with the scientists, unless of course you think they are all liars.

We had mass vaccinations when the cases were rising.

Then the masks come off and the cases start falling.

Your point doesn’t add up, and you know it.

The scientists have been wrong numerous times throughout this pandemic.

How do you feel about the damage the masks are doing to the environment?

Not really an excuse though, is it? Its not leaping to conclusions because they fit your agenda. Could well be that its something to do with masks. Like I told you, the WHO mentioned certain concerns about using them. The WHO also said that despite those concerns that they should be used though, so the probability is that it isn't masks.

I agree it's a mess with the masks, it'll keep somebody in a job I suppose. You must be barking if you think transmission is decreasing because people aren't wearing masks etc as much. It's a respiratory virus ffs.
