The delays are related to the usual complexities of disclosure, I imagine. Not helped by Bird & Bird who are experts in simply delaying and obstructing.

But the PL isn’t a Government or public body, so you can’t apply for JR as far as I’m aware. The Arb panel is an ADR and it’s been postponed so no decision even given that could be challenged.

the thread really ought to be closed till 2022 and only reopened if there is official positive news from one of the parties involved.

Another half a year just to make a ****ing interim decision. This is over, and I suspect that to be confirmed within a fortnight by some statement. I’d welcome it now.

What is the point in attending NUFC games in the PL? They do not want us to compete, even if we could. Winning is pointless.

Yeah I remember that.

For some reason frustration tactics and the news we might have to wait another 6 months has got huge numbers wanting to accept another 14 years of false stories about interest.

This one is real and it's still possible it goes through.

Bird&bird want us to fold.. I refuse and I believe ashley and the buyers dug their heels in months ago and won't just give up.

 

I think the game is over now.

In a few days I think there will be an announcement from Stavely that PIF are no longer waiting in the wings. They will invest in a different league. There will be lots of huffing and puffing from our fans but ultimately the premier league won’t care. We will get to watch this and think “what if?” Just like the Manchester City turn around.

Ashley will carry on with CAT but it will be purely about compensation.

The season will start and any protest will fizzle out. We will still see 45k+ attendances dues to the pent up boredom of lockdown.

The antagonists will be smug and kick us fans when we’re down. For what ever reason that give them a buzz.

A year from now if you ask other fans about the premier leagues lack of “sporting integrity” they will just shrug and not even know why we’re ranting.

50/50 we get relegated.
