Good call…..why worry about something we can do **** all about. Our lives are far too short and at our age….we are coming up to the final straight. Just found out a friend who was reasonably fit and healthy collapsed at work…only to be found that he has a previously undiagnosed tumour in the brain. We really don’t know how things are gonna turn out so best living for the moment when we can. Enjoy your wine gents.
I haven't heard anyone from government calling it freedom day, but that doesn't mean they haven't. The media are really cranking it up though. ****ers.

Sounds like Sturgeon & co are again showing Bojo how to manage the pandemic. Not that I would want her as Prime Minister but she seems more in tune with a common sense approach.
The term was used long before that and I agree with Col that it was started by the press/media and Bojo Used it after.
Revealed: Independent Sage is run by Left-wing group including anti-Brexit activists https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politic...dent-sage-run-left-wing-group-including-anti/ No s##t! This is where it's all gone wrong. Rather than putting politics aside and sort the pandemic by working together. Some are playing silly political games which has only confused people and will ultimately cost lives. Idiots
Whats the bets that all ministers who get pinged are on the mysterious trial of not self isolating. Remember, its different rules for the government compared to the plebs. If they dont isolate then 'carnage day' will get a whole lot worse.......but maybe thats the plan.
Why would anyone else bother? PM and Sunak not isolating despite being pinged after Javid's positive COVID test (msn.com)
As lovely as it is to be in a big house with a garden after two years in a small apartment in Paris, please explain why I, with my family, have to self-isolate and pay a huge amount for tests to be released after five days, but it's different rules for the Cabinet? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-57877373 As has been the case so many times, one rule for them, another for us.
This after sending Robert Jenrick out this morning to defend the fact that they wouldn't isolate. Dangerous fools.
I don't know what was worse listening to Jenrick or that imbicile Ashworth? Best person on TV today was Prof Furguson.
Advance bravely into "Freedom Day" - since we seem to be about a month behind you I will be watching to see what happens. All good hopefully
