Does anyone know how these are going to work yet? I bought mine a month or more ago and was told it will be a smart phone based entry system. I’ve had no update since.
Snap. I think there is a note on the website to the effect that ‘we will inform you soon’. I had electronic tickets for the Leicester friendly emailed to me very quickly, but for some reason they couldn’t be delivered into the QPR app. I think we’re all in the same boat. Ultimately you will get an electronic season ticket with a bar code, which you can upload into your Apple wallet or android equivalent, or perhaps print off (you can do this with the tickets for the friendly).
Honestly, I don't like to say this but... QPR's box office/customer service is an absolute **** show. Don't expect much clarity from them.
I got tickets for the United game. I've had the confirmation email but nothing else - anyone in the same boat? What should I expect? Edit - ignore this. Always check the spam folder.
Same nothing yet, I got tickets for Utd match, do you know if you have to show your vaccinated via NHS app?
As Stroller, I think you are clear on that from a govt perspective, I suppose the club could request evidence but I’ve seen no sign that they will.
They are on sale - saw them on the ticketing website when I got Utd tickets. Just log in as if you're buying a ticket for one of the friendlies are you should see membership on sale as an option.
Mines just arrived via email, added to phone wallet. Yay! Apparently the QPR app ticket wallet still isn’t working. If you don’t want a digital ticket (ie use the plastic card) you should have told them when purchasing the ST, which I didn’t realise until today. Not that I wanted something else to lose.
So, having found it very easy to load my season ticket into Google Pay I now suddenly realise the massive downside. In the past I have regularly passed on my ticket to my son or daughter when I can't make games. But as far as I can tell I can't do that now without also giving them my phone for the day! Does anyone know how this is meant to work in the new digital age? Surely we are still allowed to occasionally pass on a season ticket when required?
I haven’t tried this but could you forward the original email from the club to them so they can load it onto their own phone? Presumably the unique code would prevent the same season ticket being used more than once at the same game.
So, the official line from the box office is that you should call them when you want to do this and they will issue a one-off emailed ticket for use by another. You can only do this for a limited number of times however (they didn't say what the limit was). I guess that's worth a try but I'm not sure I can be doing with trying to get through to the box office particularly when the decision is often made on match day itself. Your idea about adding the same ticket to another e-wallet appears to be an option I'm pleased to say. Or at least it was certainly possible to use the emailed code twice for the same ticket. I guess we'll see what actually happens at the automated turnstile!! Thanks for the suggestion.
