( I do not support Liverpool or Manchester United ) - - - But I would like to say that I am saving up to buy Evra a halo - I reckon I've got plenty of time to get the necessary funds before he qualifies.

Here's a few games I actually paid to see: -

    1) Bristol Rovers vs Luton Town in the season Luton were relegated out of the league. The game ended 0-0 and Luton ended up with 8 men on the pitch due to 3 being sent off.

    2) Cardiff City vs Bristol Rovers 1999/2000 season. This was a FA Cup 1st round match. Cardiff had been relegated the season before into the basement division but had beaten Rovers 1-0 at Ninian Park in the final game that season to deny Rovers a play off spot. Now, live on Sky on a Sunday lunchtime, Cardiff edged a 6 goal thriller 5-1 and we were so poor we couldn't even score our goal - Alex (son of Steve) Bruce scored a lovely looping header which meant we took the lead.

    3) Bristol Rovers vs Cheltenham Town a couple of weeks ago. The score was 1-3 and Rovers were so poor they didn't look like they could pass wind, let alone a football.

    4) Cheltenham Town vs Dulwich Hamlet in the late 1980's. Many years ago went to see a FA Vase match at Whaddon Road. Cheltenham won 1-0 in a game graced with 90 minutes of head tennis and 1 touch football (Cheltenham had a touch, gave it to Dulwich to have a touch who gave it straight back).

Can't believe no one has mentioned Republic of Ireland v England Italia 90, that was so bad even the italians were slagging it off.

A game so boring and dismal it made me want to cry :(, hated both countries and I'm english!

The worst ever has to be Red Star Belgrade v Marseille in the European Cup final in 91 or 92.

Still, could have been worse. Rangers could have been in the final instead of Marseille.

Talking of Rangers, any game in their run to the UEFA Cup final could very well win "most boring game in the history of football" <ok>

A friendly 0-0 between the Netherlands and Scotland in Arnhem. Highlight of the day was meeting the Dutch guy who goes to the games in a red Indian chief's headdress.
