Saw this on the website for a Jimmy song. qprrealist Jimmy dunne is magic he wears a magic hat and if you throw a brick at him he heads the ****er back
WLS saying Qpr have put Niko up for sale, not really cut it when I’ve seen him play, gave him a 4year contract as well!!
U23's striker Hamzad Kargbo reported to be on trial with Southend. He's a 6 foot 4 striker who I read a scored a great goal in ou friendly with Hampton a few days ago.
Okay spoke to my Burnley supporting mate last evening whilst playing golf. His take is that Dunne has a lot of potential but didn't stand much of a chance of getting 1st team football with Tarkowski and Mee as first choice center back pairing. The odd time he did get a game he was decent enough and is a decent size unit, he feels that it was the right time for him to move to help his development........ Not much else to add really he just hopes Tarkowski and Mee aren't sold or injured as they could now be a bit light for cover......
Bit of a negative analysis of a single player in a team/squad Dave - however he only played 22 games last season for SW. My main concern is his fitness, but I’m sure our medical team and coaches will have been watching him closely enough. My main consideration, if he is fit, is whether he is an upgrade on what we had last season. If the coaching team feel that is the case, then it sounds like a reasonable plan for a free transfer, while we look forward to develop another replacement when his contract ends.
Don’t think many of those 40 games was last season as he was out injured, that’s why we had a look at him first & fitness as SW says
I was having a grumpy day. Agree with your question about him being an upgrade or not. Low risk if he is coming on a free, but it worries me that he's had two spells at Brentford, and time with Hull and Sheffield Wednesday, and after initially leaving Brentford for £3.5 million, all his transfers have been free since then. Hoping he can do well and prove me wrong.
Does that mean stability in the managerial aspect at last, with the owners finally looking at long term results rather than the standard short term throw more money at it approach !!!
Yes. Until November, the traditional managerial killing fields, if we have a bad run. Of course, the better Warbles does with non spending QPR, the more likely a club with a budget will try and tempt him away, so this may be about making sure we get some compensation if that happens.
Warburton has done brilliantly after the **** show up till Xmas. He's won me over, but I still remain a little sceptical that he will get us up to the next level. Having said that, our early transfer business has been excellent and if we can land Johansen my optimism will rise considerably.
They are making a big fuss of the kit reveal on the old socials and people seem to think it will be revealed with Johansen modelling it. I don't think this will be the case but it would really double down on the current feel-good factor if it was.
