Yes, think he'll def be in for the right sided CB spot either in a 2 or 3.

Forfana with either Evans/Soyuncu in a back 4
Forfana Evans Soyuncu in a back 5

Hes the only senior right sided CB apart from Amarety, who we seem adamant not to play as a CB.

If Forfanas injured, Evans would likely cover, the only way Forfana doesn't play is if hes injured.

Anyone know when pre season fixtures start? I’m sure they were free to watch last year and I’ve just started isolating for 10 days…

The Foxes start their pre-season campaign against Burton Albion at Pirelli Stadium on 24 July before facing Wycombe Wanderers and Queens Park Rangers on 28 July and 31 July respectively.

Did you mean to watch via the website? They were shown free last year, fans weren't allowed to attend so not sure if that was why although I'm sure they have been available in other years.

Yeah, they usually put it on lcfc.com if cameras are setup properly and it can be broadcast

They'll all be shown according to the club website.

"It begins a summer of live football on LCFC TV with the Club's official online TV station also set to broadcast City's upcoming friendly encounters against Wycombe Wanderers, Queens Park Rangers and Villarreal, the latter of which will be staged at King Power Stadium".

Charity Shield confirmed as full capacity- we got around 29/30k last time.

Now that's been confirmed hopefully there'll be ticket news announced soon.

Unlike the FA Cup it's not a test event so presumably no restrictions for transport arrangements.

I see the stadium expansion has been made official with a hotel and new megastore up for consultation. Perspex suppliers will be wetting themselves with excitement.

Being such a knowledgeable fellow, I expect Champions would have seen this coming and already set up his own Perspex supply company.

Pretty chuffed to see Albrighton has signed an extension to his contract. All teams need those guys who turn up and do their best every day. We lost a lot of experience and leaders with Morgan and Fuchs finishing so he can continue to be an influence on the younger ones coming through. Still the best crosser at the club so could be just what Daka needs as well.

Totally agree about Albrighton. He must be a joy for the coaches to work with. No flamboyance, no ego, just a dedicated hard worker happy to do what he does best.

Talking of Daka, there was a good piece about him on the BBC website. Sounds like a very promising acquisition, although only time will tell. How do you see him fitting in? Will he partner Vardy for a start and force Iheanacho out, but then replace Vardy longer term? Will he partner up with Iheanacho and force Vardy out from the start? Will he sit on the bench and be used as an impact sub? Obviously will depend on individual players' form and how we get them to link up with Barnes, who I hope hits the ground running this season. Personally I would expect to see him come off the bench for the first few games.

And where does Soumare fit in? Hopefully Tielemanns commits to a long term improved deal, but news on that front has been very quiet.

So many unknowns at this stage. I would have Barnes in my first 11 regardless of formation. I see Vardy and Kelechi staring with Daka fitting in with whoever is struggling. The one I see struggling to start is Maddison. Ndidi and Tielemans are both starters so its Soumare or Maddison because Barnes starts. the thing that is getting on my ti**ies is Steve Howey getting quoted in the media. What the f*ck does he know? Useless when he was with us and a two bit halfwit.

Maddison is a hard one to call. He is arguably our most creative player, but needs to spend less time looking for fouls and boss the game instead. His performances at the start of last season were outstanding, but that niggling injury just halted his season. Hopefully he has had time over the close season to get his fitness right and can start doing the things we bought him for.
