No but you know the answer to that, just as you know that the reason for them wearing them is that it reduces the risk of infection. Are you just a stupid knacker looking for an argument? Do you have any understanding of common sense? Can you think and fart at the same time? **** me some people can't see the forest for the ****ing trees. Oh, a heads up. The world is round
Actually let me ask you some questions... Did coppers wear body armour before being shot at? Do firemen wear breathing apparatus in fires? Do race car drivers wear helmets? Hmm, many moons ago they never used to, i wonder why that changed
Your argument was that health care workers chose to wear masks based on their knowledge about infectious diseases. Now you’ve just admitted they wasn’t wearing them until instructed to. Are you sure the world is round?
Only by 100 years .... "Every nurse, doctor, ward-maid, char-woman who enters the epidemic block must wear the mask and overall.” Nursing Times, 1918.
Nothing like that at all. They started wearing them because of the situation at hand. Are you really that ****ing stupid
Firstly you said the health care workers starting wearing masks because of their superior knowledge of infectious diseases. Then you said the majority of them wasn’t wearing masks until they were instructed to. Now your saying they starting wearing them because of the situation at hand. What do you choose? Did the majority of healthcare workers wear masks before being instructed to or not?
You know that the answer to that is no. Heath care workers wore mask dependant upon the situation. In infectious disease wards they were always worn. Once COVID spread they all started wearing them to reduce the risk of themselves becoming infected. If it increased the chances of infection do you think they would wear them with their knowledge? Answer me this question. Do you honestly believe that wearing masks is the reason for the increase in infection rate and if so why? You come across as someone who likes to portray themselvf as knowledgeable about this so please educate the simple folk among us.
You've totally missed the point which is that they knew 100 years ago that epidemic wards required masks and people nowadays recognise why. There can't be many in the NHS who wouldn't appreciate the value of masks and want them but the bosses are still duty bound to instruct them. One thing doesn't contradict the other.
I ****ing hate arguments like this, ask the people who are at the forefront or change places with my son who sent me and the missus the below, just yesterday. Oh and by the way, they were told to wear masks when attending anyone who had symptoms from the moment it hit our shores. It’s your choice to not have a jab, if I had my way it would be my choice not to send you any assistance if you had symptoms. Say what the **** you want but consider the thoughts of others who are out there dealing with it and their families who are worrying over it. Sons message “Just a word of warning. COVID doesn’t seem to be portrayed in the news as much nowadays. But it’s massively on the increase again, all I’ve been to today is COVID positive patients. All the hospitals are full because the same old bullshit jobs are ongoing that seemed to stop during the other waves; in addition to the covid jobs. The ambulance service is pretty much on its knees (Yorkshire Ambulance declared a major incident the other day because of capacity issues). I went to a job at 6:45am this morning for someone that had been waiting since 22:30 for an ambulance. The entire ambulance service (if not the NHS) is nearing collapse (a lot of neas staff are off, they’re offering double overtime, it’s busier than New Year’s Eve). So just because you’ve had your COVID jabs you still need to take it seriously!!” Finally I have worked in the schools throughout, without a break and this last few weeks has hit our staff harder than this time last year
And that, unless you have some real facts to contradict what he said, should be the end of the argument.
Well the cases should fall rapidly now that we don't have to wear masks anymore. Crisis averted at last!
As if to back that up, I’ve been asked to work overtime answering 111 calls as the service is so badly affected. More calls than they can handle!
Thats what happens when you wear masks apparently, it'll all die down next week when people stop wearing them
() BREAKING: Fans attending sporting events in England after July 19th will require a Covid passport and will be told to wear masks
