Hall was below average last year and a complete liability this year. Add to that the fact he collapses every other game and soldiers on for ten minutes looking at the bench like a stranded puppy and he's a recipe for disaster. Never in the history of the game has such a big player been so unimposing physically.
this sites annoying me now all the people just constantly complaining, were 11th aint we ? cheer up support the team weather its a win lose or draw stop complaining all the time and give them the full backing they deserve !!!!!! saying halls crap ? yes he made some mistakes but so did Derry and Derry has been one of the best players in most games so everyone does make mistakes ! and no he usually wouldn't start but he HAS to who else is there ??? if anything you lot should be thanking him as his playing for the team with his injury. CHEER UP
Hall's defending all round was poor on Saturday , He could not cope with roberts and won nothing against samba. We looked vunerable at every set piece. Kenny not coming for balls into the box does not help a centre half though. Paddys decision making in the last few games has been poor. Have to say that is the worst i have seen Derry play in a qpr shirt. I hope that is just a one off as he has been immense. Also on the Mackie debate, lets give him time but have to say on Saturdays display it did not look promising, but lets give him a few games before we make a decision.
Fitz made a great clearance off the line recently with an overhead kick. Samba is a beast. Watching MOTD, some refs would have blown for a foul on Fitz for that header!
let's not forget one thing re Saturday's game.....NW was forced to make some last minute changes. I would not have been surprised to have seen DJC play aganst Samba, and, i for on wold like to hae seen how Samba would have cope witha small player getting the ball to his feet. also, let's not forget that we are still a work in progress, and, that for our club to finish 17th would be a remarkable achievement considering where we were when NW took over, and the fact he had the clowns stopping him from pretty much doing anything before TF and co stepped in
i agree derry has been decent but i reckon he has started to get foung out a bit now, i hope mackie proves me wrong but i have my doubts. yes we are 11th but we havent played anyone near decent yet. i think we will need 3 or 4 in jan for sure. as for slagging off hall, how can you defend a centre half that cant head a ball?? can see drogba rubbing his hands at facing him
