To be fair, semis in extra time in the WC and penalties in the final of the Euros; results-wise you can't argue with Gareth and there's a lot more to come from most of these players.
So frustrating; took an early lead, pinned them in for 20-30 minutes and then retreated trying to defend a1-0 lead. Was never going to hold out, why retreat?
