Certainly a part of our game we need to improve upon Steels, I agree. It has worked reasonably well but it needs taking up a notch or two for sure.

Could be Johansen, Windass, 1 or 2 Wing Backs, 1 or 2 back up CB's depending on if Masterson goes on loan or not, and a back up Keeper, Kelly has gone to Motherwell, Official, and WLS report Jordan Archer a free agent is expected to join us. Warburton has said Masterson needs a loan to give him more games at League level. Even if he stays, due to some fitness concerns with de Vijs, and doubting Barbet and Dickie can stay fit and suspension free another whole season, I think we'll need another qualified CB as cover for an expected 3 CB line up. Field, Ball and Kakay could play there but will / may be needed in their more normal midfield/wing back positions. Field will be 1st choice holding MF I expect. I expect more outgoings too. Kane is expected to leave. If we bring in 2 Wing Backs, one left sided, Niko may get sold or loaned. If we bring in both Johansen and Windass I wouldnt be surprised to see Thomas go out on loan too. We have a lot of midfielders with some promising youngsters coming through as well. Bettache could go on loan for lower League experience too.
Just over 4 weeks to the start of the season, a few good additions and we could be in for a good season
A very sensible analysis. Obviously our "loans out", or even potentially sales, will depend on who will comes in, 5-6 new player arrivals is quite a large group and will require that we address the overall balence of the squad. I guees that we will need to wait and see how this develops, but I agree, it is quite an exciting prospect.
