I learned or have gained a better understanding of right from wrong since I was 7. The point I was making is that winning fairly is a valid win for me emotionally. Like I've made clear it's fine everyone can take pleasure in it and ignore how they did it, but I'll be watching.
Nope it's true they had a semi final with home advantage vs a demark side who were hoping to present a medal to one of their players who almost died in game 1 and after booing their national anthem diving to win a penalty in extra time and shining a laser pen in the keepers face they managed to win. National pride!!! It was an utter disgrace from start to finish.

Yeah he loves a dive. Unfortunately they all do, but some really are way worse than others. I'm not happy with it whether it's for us or against and I believe we would've won that game anyway. I will be supporting Italy in the final.
I don't care this is about my country operating against my values. It's now personal between me and my team. Italy are of no consequence to me they don't represent me anyway.

I won't lie though I have been very disappointed from the English fans. I thought we'd be saying no that i kind of thing as its something I grew up with because of 86..... This country held a strong position about cheating in the sport, but the majority have sold their souls to satan.

Well on here I'm clearly the minority.. I haven't heard anyone else not defend the crap that went on last night. From It's ok to cheat because we were once cheated to simply saying he didn't even dive. I'm highly disappointed because all that's required is for the people to say "here pack that in" win the right way. I wanted to win something the right way I've waited since 86 and now whatever happens its tainted for me personally. Drink in the poison gentlemen im saying no thanks.
Unrelated. I agree it wasn't a penalty. Did Sterling dive? For me, yes. I believe there was contact but not sufficient to cause a player to go down. Was it a foul? Again for me , no. Is there any other team who wouldn't have done the same thing? I doubt it. There may be one or two players who wouldn't but I couldn't name them as I haven't seen evidence of staying on your feet for years. Is it the same as Maradona? No. dId Maradona cheat? Yes. Did Sterling cheat? Only he will know. He may have genuinely fallen down from the contact. I don't think I would but I can't speak for others or him in particular. Do I care? No. Why? Because it is not a case where you 100% know if he dived or not. I think he did but I could be wrong. As I've said above only Sterling will know. If it was an obvious no contact dive then VAR would have over ruled it but VAR didn't so there is an element of doubt as to whether Sterling dived or not. On that basis I'll take the penalty. I'll take the goal and I'll take the victory. And I'll still complain about Maradona cheating.
