I apologise for calling you a Mackem, you are entitled to think cheating is not acceptable. It’s acceptable for people to think it’s naive of you or an eye for an eye is ok in this circumstance, but you should not be insulted. And calling you a Mackem is very degrading.
Tbh I never even saw that one You've opened up another can of worms though because an eye for an eye is ridiculous concept. Two wrongs don't make a right. Anyway I'm done I could say this 2000 times it won't penetrate. I'm going to leave it and I'm going to wait like a cobra for as long as it takes until I see hypocrisy strike
Nah I was brought up that there are times in life where ****s get what they deserve. Not in karma type way. Eye for eye, live by the sword die by the sword is valid for me. Waiting for authorities or the world to right every wrong is too weak in certain regards. I’m live and let live, but I don’t believe in letting people take advantage in life unchecked. Similar though if we now lose to a dive in the final, I won’t be whining.
As a well known cheat I have nothing but admiration for Sir Raheem in his fall to the ground. Just remember the prophetic words below from the Clash. If you play the game you get nothing out of it Find out for yourself try bein' a goody goody You better cheat cheat No reason to play fair Cheat cheat or don't get anywhere Cheat cheat if you can't win Nobody knows what they are doing It's beyond your control, an' friday night's a ruin If you wanna survive you better learn how to lie Don't use the rules They're not for you, they're for the fools And you're a fool if you don't know that So use the rule you stupid fool.
Also just a note on how many of our fans and country men and women are utter scum - worst of the worst booing other teams national anthems - what a complete bunch of ****s those that were booing are.
Like I said in my opinion Kane’s was a pen so it evened out anyway. As for Stirling he probably wasn’t brought down but it’s not conclusive whether or not contact made on him prevented him from playing the ball or playing it as he would have wanted. If that was the case it’s still a foul but sadly without going down it wouldn’t have been given. No one but Stirling will ever know for certain so it’s nothing like the Maradona farce. Because of the uncertainty and the Kane appeal you can’t say it’s cheating but everyone is entitled to an opinion.
Exaggerating a foul by going down isn’t cheating mate. The foul was still a foul whether or not he went down, kissed the keeper or had a cup of tea. What happens after the foul is irrelevant.
I think it was a bit of soft penalty but Stirling was effectivly blocked by 2 defenders who did not win the ball, therefore it was a foul. What is annoying is the reaction of going down like he had been shot by a sniper in the stands.
He cheated that's what diving is. When a player dives and you hear the words soft penalty its trying to shift the point of blame on the ref... When it's for them and the player leaves a leg in they say "look contact", but when it's the other way around they say their side was robbed. Cheating or winning penalties as its now been renamed has been coached into players from their clubs and countries for decades and they don't even realise they're doing it anymore... Former players makes excuses and justify it on TV and use terms like "he's done well to win a penalty there" fans have been hearing this type of crap to the point they don't even see it for what it actually is anymore.. It's cheating. England along with the rest are cheating. When it happens in games like that I ain't having it personally.
Would he have got the pen if he hadn’t gone down though? Refs have to take some responsibility too. All too often a pen isn’t given for a foul if the player doesn’t go down. This wasn’t a situation to risk it.
Think that there was contact with the knee first and then the hip barge - 100% contact but was it enough to go down? Not for me but I'm not 5'7 and get blown around by the wind. Do think if it had been one or the other it probably would have been waved away but the little touch followed by the barge made the refs mind and VAR was never going to call that clear and obvious error. More important though - Do I care if it was right or wrong? No! Am I delighted to be in a final for the first time in 55 years? To ****ing right I am! Do I feel sorry for Denmark? No and I'm part Danish. Is it coming home? It's Coming Home!
What exactly is Stirling supposed to do, moving at pace penned in against the touchline by 3 defenders? Just stop dead and walk off the pitch, saying fair enough lads you've outnumbered me have a goal kick!?
