I'm trying to work and I just keep getting emotional. I actually can't believe we are in the final. Who said football is just a game!
He’s not the messiah. He’s just a very talented boy Southgate use of our attacking talent has worked perfectly. Pragmatic decisions have got us to a final Foden’s day is coming and hopefully so is Grealish’s and they are both still fresh for the final So many good performances and a team that want to play for each other, the boss and the fans Proud, whatever happens Sunday
Time for the Shankly quote I believe: “Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that.”
Tomorrow I turn 51 years old. I know, it’s hard to believe when you look at me but it’s true. Today I explained to my boys that the reason I was so happy to see England in the final is that it has never happened in my lifetime before. 51 years and no final for my national team. They couldn’t believe England were that **** . I had given up caring let alone believing but it’s finally happening. Couldn’t have asked for a better . Cheers Southgate. Cheers players. Cheers England. and thanks for making it evening kick off so I don’t have to stay up all night!
live really not enjoyed the ITV coverage. Absolutely loved the BBC. They are brilliant, the build up, the hosts, commentary, all top class.
I was thinking along the same lines as you Che. Walker has been reborn, while Maguire has been supreme.
Presumably thats 26.3m screens tuned in to the game too. I wonder what percentage of the country watched it, because so many people watch it in groups in homes let alone all the big screens.
Apparently they have 12,000 people in 5,000 households across the country, from all socioeconomic groups, and they report on what everyone in their household is watching at any particular time. They they just extrapolate across the population as a whole. I guess last night would have seen whole families watching the same thing at the same time, which obviously doesn’t happen very often.
