Takeover aside has anything at all of any note (strips aside also) happened over the summer months at NUFC? Anything whatsoever which is positive!
I don't think much has happened anywhere, except clubs looking for managers and Man U getting Sancho. Oh, and I think Watford have done their usual and bought about 35 players nobody's heard of.
I get bored hearing fans moaning about not signing players. We've spent 100 million the last 2 years we only need one or two and it'll be OK. The clubs in limbo... Another few weeks should provide clarity and then go from there.
I completely understand you point and why nobody wants to take a club on thats bottom 3 with no window till January, but I truly believe it won't take that long, and I don't think once there is a clear path through the O&D test that the buyers can delay the purchase as long as the deal they signed 15 months ago is the deal that is going ahead. Delayed? i thought the 10th was launch day with their online shop?
Well we know we're looking at mid July to late July now for the hearing, we don't actually know how long that will take.. Some say days and some weeks and then how long will the decision take? If they don't get a decision until a week or 2 before the 31st of August then I think the premier league could simply carry out its test beyond the 31st and hope nufc are doing crap when they pass it. I'm only theorising because times rapidly running out and it's clear the plan is delay and disrupt. If the premier league can delay it until the window shuts they might still be in the fight even if they lose arbitration. On the othe hand the buyers seem determined and might just go ahead anyway because of the battle they've had to go through. I'm quite simply sick to the back teeth of it now abs a result either way will be tonic to me.
I think we need more than one or two, to be fair. We're going into this season with Muto near the first Xi and Gayle on the bench (again), it's not great. Willock's gone, so already have a huge hole to fill. Obviously none of this concerns me, 'cos if it's Ashley - Bruce - Charnley, I'm ****ing done!
NUFC offical twitter did a pic of the castore logo on the new shirt with the date in the header, 10/07/21
I'd be happy with a cm and a striker tbh. Willock ideally and a better striker than gayle. That would see us mid table no problem
With Bruce in charge we could have the 1998 brazilian squad and he would get us relegated, (in my opinion), but i cant stand bruce so i would say that lol
yeah the CEO in the interview said this week, along with their website for the club, and really saturday is still this week
Since Jones came in which was half of the season nufc were the 10th best performing side, so I don't think we've got an issue provided we bring in willock or someone capable in cm. On fact for the last 11 games which wa the last quarter of the season nufc was the 7th best performing side.
