I'd love to see an England/Italy final. That would be some game. I expect England to beat Denmark, but Italy have the tougher game against Spain.
I like the Italian attacking style of football but their theatrical diving and rolling around does my head in -and for that reason I really hope they don’t win
Nerves already set in for this one. I believe that we are the only one of the semi finalists who have never won this bloody tournament, so it's more tha about time. You have to hope that lady luck will go with us for once, but she's a fickle one. The Danes will be no push overs - they are basically fired up and looking at their 1992 champions crown as a totem that they can turn over every barrier to win. All four of these teams show a huge team spirit, and while I still think Italy look marginally the better team, you really wouldn't write off anyone this near to the final. Fingers crossed we can turn it on two more times and put our name on the trophy.
Very enjoyable game last night, much better than I expected. If you miss sitters against Italy you get punished. And penalty shoot-outs are terrific theatre for neutrals.
