Denmark beat us in October but are not the best team. They are riding a wave of emotion but you could see they looked tired yesterday so I reckon the adrenaline is running out. We should beat them, barring any major mistakes

Denmark is a challenge. good at the back, big side, some cracking individual players. For me though hey only maybe 15% better than Ukraine. It’s not a given, but same as yesterday if we turn up and the mentality is right we will win. We are simply better than them.
Aye, remember though our odds are flawed by the easier draw, Spain and Italy essentially have to beat 2 top 10 teams to win. That’s why We favourites, not simply as we seen as best side.
We’ve a great chance mate. We are improving into it. I’d rather play Spain in a final I’d be utterly confident we win that. Italy would be so close. On the positive side I’m quarter Italian but that wouldn’t make it any less of a kick in the spuds if we lost the final.
I don't know how poor Ukraine were but teams seem to be tiring as we get stronger, good bench as well ... ... if this was Southgate's plan, all along, I take my hat off to him.
as i said a week or so ago, southgate might just have these tactics spot on, forget 'negative football' it is starting to look like an energy conserving way of playing/tactic and appears to be working, i have watched the french, italian, spanish sides etc in the past and they never look good until out of the group stages so there may well be something in it. the only problem would still be the italians, they just run and run and run which is strange as i cant remember a single one dropping with cramps (i think they are on drugs mesel, like) but they really are all speed, some really fast passing moves and will cause anyone a problem.
If Football is coming home can I ask where it's coming from and will it have to isolate for 14 days when it gets here?
With the 'world class' track and trace system that we have, football will arrive through the back door and be lost for weeks before turning up at an illegal house party
Don't know if this has been mentioned but the three other semi finalists had games which went to the wire and they all expended a lot of energy to get through. England played the last 40 minutes as a training stint and hardly broke sweat in the first half, also all our better players were subbed and got extra rest...could make a difference.
It could be, especially for Spain where both their previous games went into extra time. The Danes were good in the first half against the Czechs, but did fade quite a bit in the second half, at least to my eyes
Said this to my Dad earlier. He doesn’t get that at all. He thinks we should’ve gone on and smashed them 9-0 cos “Germany would have”!! To make people scared! We won 4 nil. We have conceded no goals. I’m pretty sure we’re the team everyone will be worried about at the minute.
