Italy are the best team left in it but we can still beat them. Austria gave it a real go and the Italians struggled to break them down as they were so compact. We are the same and have better forward players than Austria so it's possible. Spain are the best team in possession but have little goal threat in terms of strikers. I see Italy and Spain going all the way to extra time and maybe penalties leaving us the freshest team in the final

I think Denmark are the biggest threat. They are feeding off the Ericsson thing which is something you simply can’t coach. Said when it happened that I thought they might win it. Hope I’m wrong as we are looking so strong. Southgate appears to be a very astute manager putting the right players in at the right time. I slated him a few time in the tournament because of my opinions! Turns out he knows a lot more about managing England than I do!!
It’s his first England goal and he was in a very elite club of about 4 or 5 who’d played more than 60 games and not scored I believe
