Great post BfB For me the all round effort it took to get to the last 16 was outstanding. It was Wales versus the world and they did the nation proud. Sadly though our lack of quality in depth and state of exhaustion was too much against a dynamic and clinical Denmark (notwithstanding an atrocious refereeing display). Well, that’s an old ghost put to rest. Now we will see how much difference playing in front of a home crowd really makes - English fans are effectively banned from watching the game in Rome on Saturday due to Covid travel restrictions in both Italy and the UK so only a handful of ex-pat residents will be able to go, whereas the Ukrainians are free to travel where they want and will pack the stadium. Never mind - at least the UEFA bigwigs can watch the finals at Wembley without any restrictions eh - glad to see football is still the sport of the common man………
Is that right about Ukraine bcfc? I didn't think they were in the EU so would have the same travel issues as England fans. Apparently England will get 2,000 tickets and 30,000 ex pats living in Italy. Up to the UK Consul in Italy to distribute them. Can't see that going well.
Big psychological hurdle overcome there.... very good result though. On paper an easy run to the final now in what has practically been a home tournament for England. Certainly will be an interesting ride.

I get the rivalry. I ‘bat for both sides’ because my dad is Welsh. If England had been knocked out and Wales were still there I would support Wales for sure. Fk Scotland and wee Jimmy though. Bs’rds.
