there's hell on here after the defeat, the heavens opened during the match and torrential rain fell, in berlin there was a large screen in the square , beer tents and Bockwurst stands, the screen went bang with the lightening, and the square was under inches of water,Justice was served

Ukraine then. Good side, play on the front foot so will cause us problems.

Today was not a tactical masterclass. It was concentrating on being less **** than a very poor opposition. England need to up their game massively. We look nowhere near Belgium or Italy and we're not as positive as the other teams left in the draw.

For my money Southgate has to make a very brave decision and drop either Kane or Sterling.

I loved it, it was fantastic. It wasn't a classic but it was riveting. I've waited years as we all have to beat them buggers, the 5-1 was class but it's not the same as knocking the ****ers out of a major tournament. Let's just hope we can win this thing outright.

I'm 25% German so I'm not anti German at all. I just love beating the ****ers cos we so rarely do.

Other than a Questionable performance from the players against Scotland, Southgates tactics, approach and game planning have been spot on.

I'm the same Roger, if we can't win this thing I want Spain to win it but if we are in the final together I'd want us to hammer the donkey flinging ****ers.

    Ha'Way England.

wonder if they want to ban the Brits if we play there in the final, bet they will be chuffed to have real beer swilling patriots, i stead of the Germans and Dutch who go in camper vans and take their own booze and grub, they would be lucky to squeeze 60 quid out of a stadium full<laugh><laugh><laugh>

I thought it was a great performance, no "less ****" about it and Southgate won the tactical game against a far more experienced manager. Only thing lacking with us is that there were lots of times when the front players were on their own so ran into trouble while trying to hold it up. As someone else said, though, we are getting better

I think better teams will take advantage of our lack of will to go forwards. I'm pleased we got through but for me that was despite our setup rather than because of it. Going man for man all over the pitch as Maguire let slip in an interview won't work against Belgium, Italy or Spain and we don't look like we can play any other way.

What I noticed during the Sweden game, was the lack of free kicks during the 90 minutes, both teams tried to play football without conning the Ref etc.
However during extra time it was like a scene from Saving Private Ryan, we have enough to get past Ukraine they must be knackered after that last night.

    They will not be easy.

My barber, happens to be a Ukrainian women. She sees these Euro's as more than just a football tournament. It is about sticking it to the Russians for taking over the Crimea and the ongoing war with them. They are flying the flag for their beleaguered country. Powerful motivation.
