It took more than a decade for Labour to get out from under Michael Foot. It'll be even longer for Corbyn, sadly.

What I don't understand is that it was blatantly obvious that Hancock couldn't remain in his post.

He was left without a shred of credibility and it would have been impossible to continue to lecture the public about Covid as he's done all this time.

So why would the PM be so quick to back him and declare the matter closed when it obviously wasn't ...

... does he really believe that he can control every event with a snap of his fingers.

Sajid Javid is just another bland mouthpiece who'll churn out the same catchphrases. I wonder which one he'll start with.

Yep had a job with JP Morgan who have a lot to do with US private health system. Tories won't privatise the NHS overnight, they will chip away at bits of it until one day there is nothing left. "**** the Plebs" as Call me Dave, Bonko, and Gideon Osborne used to sing on Oxford pub tables during their Bullingdon Club days at University.

Can't believe people are still going on about "There's a right wing conspiracy to eliminate the working classes". Of course there is. And its all being orchestrated by simpering Gavin, a bloke that thinks groping his secretary counts as social distancing, a fella who goes on 30 mile drives to test his eyesight, and, right at the top, a man who doesn't understand the instructions for his comb. Unbelievable.

Having a mess of a haircut is one thing ...

... deliberately messing it up, for the cameras, is a bit touched.

It's because those who support one Party, any Party, right or wrong, will always take any opportunity to rubbish the other.
It doesn't have to be relevent.

And it doesn't seem to occur to either side that most Parties have embarrasing events in the recent past, so NO PARTY can claim a moral high ground.

The resigning issue isn't that he can not control his urges, and certainly not social distancing. It's what looks like getting someone a job in your Department for reason that might have been more personal than professional!
On the face of it, it could well be a case of Misconduct in a Public Office.
No doubt Sir Kier could give a professional view on this.

And for those ONLY interested in this on a party basis, can I suggest that you discoss the following (Relatively) recent cases.

    Tory
    John Major
    David Mellor
    Boris Johnson

    Labour
    John Presscot
    David Blunkett
    Keith Vaz

    Lib Dem
    Paddy Ashdown.

(Please feel free to add to this list)

"It doesn't have to be relevent."

That appears to be the case.

I'm only interested in whoever is currently running the country and don't want them to fail, even if I don't like them personally, because that would be detrimental to me and mine.

Nor do see the logic in going back and doing a Jim Bowen, it's just daft.
