The geezer that killed George Floyd receives a mere 22 years, although I suspect he'll be murdered before his sentence finishes.
He should have been given life.

I get the impression that in America, hated prisoners are not as well protected by the system as they are over here.
I wouldn't be surprised if the ex-dop doesn't do for himself pretty soon.
He can't kneel on his own neck though.

If Trump gets back in, I wouldn't put it past him to pardon the bloke - or what's left of him.

On the same subject; that evil bugger who slaughtered those two teenage girls has now paid his debt according to the CPS.
They can let him out if they want, but there should be no protection for him.
Just shove him out of the prison gate and say cheerio.
Let's see how long he lasts.

    A very good point.
How many incidents of police brutality, even leading to unlawful killing, have been papered over and forgotten by the authorities in the decades before everyone had a mobile camera to film these things.
The ability to film such injustice and upload it before the recording device can be confiscated is one of the benefits of modern mobile phone technology.

Jeez, I really don't think there is a punishment hard enough for this piece of absolute scum.

Straightforward death sentence doesn't do it. Give me a couple of hours with him first.

Well done to the family, including the two brave siblings, who helped rescue the boy.
