I was thinking exactly the same - we are so much more potent when we decide to go and attack instead of just sitting back waiting for a chance. We did it against Turkey and you could see the game was there for the taking. I'm hoping we approach this game with the same attitude.
Absolutely, if we take the attacking initiative, I think we can do enough to win this. Hope Page & Bale, as the head coach & leader on the pitch have drilled this into them..
I don't think my nerves can take anymore. I was at the match at this stage last time v Northern Ireland. I think the excitement there & rampant alcohol consumption helped a little to temper the anxiety..
Wales interim manager Robert Page makes three changes from last Sunday’s 1-0 group-stage defeat against Italy. Defenders Chris Mepham and Ben Davies as well as striker Kieffer Moore, all benched against Italy to avoid a second yellow card of the tournament and a suspension, are all recalled. They return in place of Chris Gunter, Neco Williams and Ethan Ampadu, who is banned after his red card in Rome. Those changes see Wales revert to the 4-2-3-1 formation they used in the draw with Switzerland and victory over Turkey.
Denmark head coach Kasper Hjulmand makes two changes to the team which beat Russia 4-1 in their final group game in Copenhagen. Jens Stryger Larsen replaces right wing-back Daniel Wass and Kasper Dolberg comes in for Yusuff Poulsen in attack. Wass and Poulsen appear to be injured because neither are in the match-day squad.
4 at the back and keep the ball, try only going forward not backwards and feed our capable goal scorers at every opportunity ! Don't let bale take any pens.
