    And there ref's totally got that wrong, no way a penalty. What is the point of VAR of they can't get that right?

    The first one was a definite penalty which is what Newport County should have got in in their play off final. The second was nowhere near a penalty.

    Having watched both England and Germany on successive evenings, I would say that England have nothing to fear ….. and Germany have nothing to fear.

    The problem for England is that Southgate sets them up ‘not to lose’ (a la Cooper) - whilst Löw sets the Krauts up to win <cheers>

    Must admit I quite like the new crest, better than the previous. But neither match the one we had prior to them both. The one I knew through the 70s to the 2000s.

    Going to be a tough game. Denmark have confidence now. We really need to play with ambition, we can't sit deep and hope for the odd break.

    We have to take the game to them from the off, a la Turkey. No sitting back, trying to contain as we did with Switzerland. We can score goals, we have the armoury to do so. We should have scored twice against Italy..
