Stephen "that ball is mine" Henderson has definitely been training with Jamo - he did good.

Rocha, so keen to get the header, somersaulted over a Barnsley player.

The team didn't look happy though, they did their jobs, but I saw no joy there for them. More longball than at the Blackpool game, but they'll be happy with the 3 points.

I agree, Henderson looked assured in goal, although the woodwork saved him on one ocassion. Thought Rocha & Pearce played very well together in centre of defence.

Very impressed with Ben Haim at left back, and with Varney up front.

Only wish that Benjani would start performing - don't think he is the answer at the moment. Why didn't we have Futacs on the bench rather than Kitson ?

Still, a very good second half performance, and a good win.

Very strong rumour going round South Stand Lower, that Dave Jones was in the director's area - anyone see him up there ?

Woopertsduck: Apparently Futacs was injured but Blutak was on the bench. Told to come on but unable to move.

I'd certainly pick blutak for most games although he gets a lot of stick.

Only saw the 2nd half, but based on that we cruised it.
Although apparently Barnsley had the better of us in the first half
Not sure why 3rdEye said the team didn't look happy?? (although to be fair i wasnt at the game)
    Henderson was good.

I liked the look of Henderson in goal, Ashdown has for me aways looked fragile in his own six yard box and lacked the command jamo had of it. Also, whilst producing some good performances he never really kept many clean sheets, and was all to often beaten from range , for me, too many times, especially when the shots were on the deck.

I hope we can build on this though, Ipswich looked good at the weekend on TV and we will I think struggle to get anything there, but a good performance against Donny at Fratty on saturday will perhaps instil a bit more self confidence in the players. Good to see varney back as well.PUP <ok>

Varney playing up front, instead of wide on the left, was definitely a good move - he looked very sharp, scored a good goal, and deservedly was named man of the match.
