Blue Moon is the dogs mate !! Get some Duvel down ya and get yourself to Tesco's and get yourself some bottles of Frulli (Strawberry beer)....it's fooking lush!

There's a crafty as **** little beer shop opened near me in Low Fell called the Rare Drop, got me father in law a lovely variety of cheeky local ales for fathers day....i'd highly recommend a look there if you're after something out of left field.

any day after the 9th of July would be reasonable
so for a Saturday that would be the 10th, 17th, 24th or 31st of July

 

any of those saturday dates work for me like, happy to break my self imposed cutting back of the ale for a bit of a sesh like, it's been a very long time since I've had one!

 

Right - got my flight booked back to UK for Sat night, got 10 days of self-isolation to do so could be available from 31st July onwards. I won't have been double-jabbed until 2nd August but am happy to sit in a corner away from the elderly and vulnerable ones (Trev and Nev).

 

Sat Aug 7th we play Norwich in a friendly at SJP. Could target that?
I'm meant to be on holiday then but Boris and Erdogan looked to have scuppered that.
If that's too late, we can look to the 31st July.

I'm already out on the 31st July but it's a night time thing so could meet up for a few beers if we're talking about daytime drinking. 7th Aug is equally fine.

Its my brother’s 60th birthday part down south on 7th August so would have to be 31st for me.

 

Looks like I am out now. My flight this weekend was cancelled as Singapore is no longer accepting transit passengers from Indonesia and I was moved onto one via a Red List Country. Indonesia has just been added to UK Red List as well from Monday next week so I would be obliged to hotel quarantine.

Cancelled my trip for now and may come later this month but unless you fancy holding the meet-up in a hotel near Heathrow there is no way I could make 31st.

More likely to come up for a Premier League game in August now, probably Southampton, as West Ham game coincides with Man United - Leeds and would quite like to watch that.

Yesterday AM I was firming plans with my Tangerang contact for my October trip.... by night time I wondering if I will ever get over there. I also had my Turkey trip canceled last night so well pissed off as I'm not sure when or if I'll fly again at this rate.

 

Suspect we are not going to be open for some time yet. Reckon the takeover may go through before Indonesia is open. Japanese Embassy actually chartering planes to bring citizens back to Japan for safety reasons and vaccination.
