Thanks TC. That's very helpful advice. I'll look forward to watching Season 4 of the "Unforgotten' etc. I thought Cassie had quit the show. Nice to see she's still on.
rushed home from a session in the pub to watch time, luckily the roads were empty apart from the odd cyclist. very good but a bit too close to home. stephen grahams range of emotions in this are about 5 degrees compared to the average persons 360 but he manages in those 5 degrees to get more emphasis over. mad innit? one of those things where you constantly keep wondering what you would do in their positon. long time since ive seen sean bean in summat. fantastic acting but with again a very limited range of emotions. stark depressing and scary. but well worth a watch. times have changed , i remember when they only got a v.o. every 28 days.
The Live Revival on sky Arts is excellent about small music venues all round the country. Adelphi gets a mention. Weller does a couple of great songs in the first episode.
brilliant, Stephen Graham is one of the actors where you know it will be good if he is in it , one of the best in the country IMO
I've got Time recorded, it's next on the list. Last night, I finished watching Innocent, the ITV drama starring Katherine Kelly as a school teacher wrongly convicted of the murder of one of her students. It's well made and worth a watch, though the twist at the end is a bit over the top and I thought spoiled it a little.
i enjoyed that too, there is another series of that from a couple of years ago which was good too , similar storyline with different set of charachters, etc
Time was good but talk about suspending disbelief How tall is he ffs ?? 4”11?? He’d have been battered on a daily basis
anyone who enjoyed Time and has never seen it, should catch up on another Jimmy Mcgovern series from many years ago , The Street. few series of it with some big actors in, Timothy Spall, Jim Broadbent, Anna Friel , Stephen Graham, one brilliant episode with Bob Hoskins as a pub landlord who refuses to bow down to the local gangster and apologise for Barring his son. Brilliant writing
I really enjoyed The Street, some episodes were much better than others, but the whole things was definitely worth a watch.
They've been making this for ****ing ever! It's a half decent book. Hopefully the TV drama will be good anarl.
