This, a thousand times this, starting 11 isn't as important as some would make out, it's how they approach the game, will it be the defensive, drop deep mindset we saw vs Scotland or will we see us pressing the Czechs high starving them of space and time....I suspect I know the answer already tho

 

Scotland scrape through as one of the best 3rd place finishers, and then Covid rips through their squad because they didn't isolate certain individuals, meaning they have to withdraw from the competition.
We can always dream ...

 

I haven't watched Enland play for years, and have no intenton of starting now. I generally find most international games boring as ****, so only watch them if they are on in the pub (although I did enjoy Netherlands v Ukraine.) I won't be going to the pub when England play, I'd rather watch a kids game.

 

i can only think, they dont want the commotion and controversy of it eliminating a team from the competiton. easier to just target 2 players so they can be seen to be taking it seriously without the hassle.

 

More than enough commotion and controversy just from dropping two players, and now getting plenty of hassle. The pics and video of all the players and staff in close quarters make a mockery of it all.

 

i agree, just heard on the radio its because they spent 22 mins talking inside instead of the alloted 15 mins , load of bollocks really

 

And the hole they are digging just gets deeper and deeper, someone somewhere will be going through all the video timing all their other contacts.
