Cardiff City have made rookie Arsenal defender Mark McGuiness their second summer signing. McGuiness, 20, has signed a three-year deal with the Bluebirds after a decade in the Gunners' youth ranks. The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international spent last season on loan at Ipswich Town.
Stanley want a seven figure fee for him, not only does it seem highly unlikely that we'd pay that, but if we did, it wouldn't be on a two year deal, so it probably is bollocks.
Probably would be 2 years + 1 year option to cover our investment, maybe we are trying to engineer a cash + player to get the deal over the line. Maginnis, Charles and Marriott vying for the central striker roll would leave Eaves surplus to requirements.
@Howdentiger2 So what is actually going on then? Charles and Marriott incoming or one or the other hahaha
I highly doubt we will go for both and as we all can guess, the cheaper option is the preferred route. But an enquiry has gone in and we didn't run a mile at the response
I seem to remember the Sunderland fans weren't that keen on O'Nien and he didn't have a good game against us. Looks like it is a non-starter due to wage demands.
Is Marriott local ? I've stayed in a couple of his hotel's. Marriott Garden on Michigan ave in Chicago...Very nice! And one somewhere else.
And that’s why Kane is playing crap he’s got lead in his legs, probably mildly depressed. Remember World Cup in Korea and Japan I think Lampard and Beckham or Rooney were the same due to serious transfer speculation disruption or with Beckham speculation he’d allegedly been playing away - but the effect was the same - I think any way wrong thread who are City getting !!
