It amazes me how puerile some people's specialised subjects are ...

... grown men with 'Winnie the Pooh' and 'Harry Potter' ffs.

Most footballers brains are in their feet. Reading is seen as such a strange activity amongst them that Chelsea's Graeme Le Saux was branded a "poofter" by his team mates for reading the Guardian newspaper.

Here's a interesting one Smug, I've not really thought about it and I'm at work tonight so haven't got time but what would your specialist subject be. Infact I'll throw that open to everyone.

Just watched it. He didn't even look like he was having brain freeze, he just looked thick.

My specialist subject? The Lords of the North series of books by Bernard Cornwall, WW2, The War of the Roses, SAFC in the Play-offs and, of course, The resurrection of SAFC from League 1 to Champions League

I'd have to go for Mary, Queen of Scots.

I've read half a dozen good books and been to many of the places where she lived and was confined.

And I've seen the fillum <laugh>

Thinking about mine in the short time I've had and it's mostly to do with the work I've done over 30 years is the holiday hotspots of Italy. Boring I know but I've always loved the country

Strange choice of specialist subject that one mind, I thought he would have went for "Taking a dig a sunderland every chance I get" would have been his.

I'm back there in October, I'm doing a ghost hunt at both her house and the gaol at Halloween. Jedburgh itself is a nice place, not much there but a good place. The wife and I went into one of the pubs there and was made to feel welcome
