Utter ****e from England and Southgate.

Finally Grealish gets a go, so who's coming off, Phillips, Rice, Mount?

No, it's our only other creative player!

Southgate doesn’t have it in him to allow the team to go for it, he’s a negative man. Credit to Scotland for their fight.

Kane was so pedestrian. Shocked how slow and uninterested. Wtf was up with him. He should not start the next match

Although Rashford brought some urgency, we did need Calvert-Lewin on,

The Scots found Grealish a handful, but on the whole England played at half pace..

I cannot believe it, but are we really trying not to win the group, to get an easier passage

Highly disappointing performance by team and manager.
Kane gave nothing - hardly heard his name, should have come off earlier. James was poor (he has no peripheral awareness of players and seems to only see what is in front of him - and he is usually facing his own goal, which means the ball goes backwards; very annoying).
Agree there was very little urgency in their game. While the passing was reasonable they often took two passes when one could have sped up the movement and opportunity to get forward quicker. With Scotland’s five at the back you would expected us to boss the middle of the park - we didn’t and lacked someone to grab hold of the midfield and boss the game.
Grealish added some movement and attack, but why Foden was taken off I have no idea. I’m sure Calvert-Lewis will get some time next game.
Southgate needs to have a look at himself or he will miss a terrific opportunity to have a strong Euros for this England group.
Need a much more impressive game against the Czech Republic.

There were lots of dissapointing performances last night and some strange decisions. Neither of those fullbacks would have started for me but i suppose he has to reason his selection of 500 right backs in the squad. Nor would i have played 2 holding midfielders in Rice and Phillips whilst using a back 4. I would with a back 3 but then you want wing backs like Chillwell and Trippier. I know hes pushed phillips further up field but why not actually play an attacking midfielder instead??? Im becoming increasingly bored of the England team...yet again. It looked exciting and promising 2 years ago with an influx of youth. Just let the reigns go Southgate, let the exciting players do their stuff rather than shackle them to a pass sideways, pass backwards team. Yes Kane was poor along with the majority but what service did he get?! He dropped back into the left back position just to get a bloody touch of the ball at times. What are these players told at international level? Its ****ing boring.

That was about as uninspired a performance as I’ve seen since the R’s played under Redknapp. What a 5hite advert for English football. No neutral will want to see England progress when our brand of game is so dreadfully dull.

Agree with that Beth. And it could backfire if we lose to the Czecks who have a goalscorer at these finals, scrape through in 3rd place and then have to play a Group Winner. Or finish 2nd and possibly meet Spain in the next round whereas winning the Group could give Hungary. Think playing a more attacking, fluid, football would help the team gain momentum, and support, rather than staying in 1st gear, worrying about who we play in the next round.

I thought Dykes had an excellent game boss in the Air, looked fill of energy for the full 90, getting back defending, and probably was the Scottish player closest to scoring with that hooked volley cleared off the line by James.

Always the danger a good tournament will bring the bids in for him, l think another season alongside Charlie will improve him massively as well as benefitting us...

Maybe instead of having a bash at "poor" England performance, Steve Clarke should be given a bit of praise for stopping England play. He worked previously with Mourniho so he would be well versed in tactical defensive play, and knowing how to kill a game.
What disappointed me most is the lack of intelligence among the England players to work out a system where they could break the Scots down and a manager that did not utilise the substitutes who could have changed, players witha bit of pace and skill. Disappointing performances from Kane and Sterling bth who looked like they had other things on their mind. .
On a plus side. Lyndon played very well, just a shame everyone knows we have a decent player in out squad.

Scotland fans seen cleaning up on Irving Street near Leicester Square

A number of Scotland fans took part in a clean-up of London's Leicester Square after the area was covered in litter during Euro celebrations.

The national squad drew 0-0 with England at Wembley, keeping their hopes alive for the knockout stage.

Thousands travelled from Scotland to London to support the team despite Covid restrictions, with a large number of them watching the match in pubs.

Many are travelling home on Saturday due to a rail strike on Sunday.

The difficulty of the second "minileague" match again today.

The team that has already won a match, is cautious as it doesn't want to lose...a point will probably get them through
The team that lost the first match has to at least draw if not win, comes out really fighting.

Perhaps we should not be over critical of England after Hungary holding France to a draw
