France and Italy will be really worried at facing that kind of performance

    Yep, this format stinks.

Anyway credit to Scotland for holding England’s frontline of Shaun Wright Philips and Grant Holt at bay.

Credit the Scots, they played with great heart and defended excellently. England looked bemused, lacklustre and short of ideas. We have the talent. We need to show it.

What a boring performance from England. Lacklustre, no creativity infact piss poor. Having to watch with my scottish family, it became difficult not to applaud scotland and i wanted Dykes to score. Cant understand Foden substitution but the best player on the pitch was the young lad Gilmour.

You'd think Scotland had won the tournament the way they are talking about the game on STV <laugh> a good solid performance by them - you just know they'll get trounced by Croatia now

Most likely. There are a lot of teams in this tournament that would beat both England and Scotland.

From what ive seen of the home nations teams, wales look to have the best chances in a knockout game and going the furthest.

I'm pretty sure Southgate was asking Dykes if he didnt have an English Grandparent at the end there. He gave England more problems than Kane gave Scotland.

Sterling or Phillips should have gone off for Grealish. Not Foden.

Yep strange sub to me, needed both Foden & Grealish together,
I wonder what Col would’ve made of our performance & subs tonight? He normally sticks up & doesn’t criticise them like most of us!

It would be difficult not to criticise that performance. I think.the only positive was that we didnt concede.

One dimensional manager, one dimensional team. This squad should be playing with freedom not shackles. Good news is Southgate was told he will be in charge through the World Cup campaign regardless of how Euros go so another generation of talented players will under-achieve, he's the problem not the solution...
