Was talking to our kid, went to Newquay last week, said the beaches were really quiet, it was lovely. Some through roads to other areas closed due to the G7 but no probs, even went to the Eden project, but wasn't overly impressed - can't remember what it's like tbf.

Was hilarious cos wed been drinking before and i was a bit sore the next morning, probs my own fault for thinking i was in a kung fu movie on strings

 

The disappointment every time you read @PINKIE has attached a file to the thread: The Burly Arms when you think just once he’s gonna post a pic of some crumpet from the beaches he surfs at but it’s just another picture of scenery.

The season hasn’t kicked off properly yet, But it’s getting busier. The G7 was a massive inconvenience for everybody in terms of road closures and places you couldn’t go. But I’m glad they came down here.

I know it’s largely a big vanity project and a show for the media. But you can’t help be affected by the environment down here, and I think the delegates were all put at ease by their surroundings. I know I’m an optimist, but I’m hoping it’s made a positive impact on them all and put them in the frame of mind to work together.

Yeah we had some in mounts bay a couple of weeks ago. They spent ****ing millions down here a few years ago on sewage treatment and as a result, our water bills are ****ing eye watering
