Quite a contrast in mood from the Queen.

EDIT: And bear in mind this time she has just lost her husband of 70 years +......

Her Maj loves socialists. Her very favourite Prime Minister was Harold Wilson. She loathes Johnson for the dishonest, lying, disrespectful creep that he is. She only stays at Windsor so she doesn't have to meet the slime ball each week but talks to him on the 'phone instead.

The media keep bashing France and Germany over Brexit and I don't know why we don't just go and invade them like we have done so many times in the past and give them a lesson or two in showing respect. I am sure the Mail, the Express and the Evening Standard would take up the cause. We could raise an army. I am sure there would be plenty of volunteers from those red wall constituencies.

I suppose it should sort of be on here -

My stepfather-in-law, Peter Taylor, has a programme on tonight on BBC2 at 9pm about the Irish Partition, and his 50 years of filmmaking on the troubles etc. It's many publications pick of the week, and well worth watching as a break from the football!

I think Peter Taylor has done more to help the English understand 'The Troubles' in Northern Ireland than anyone. He has always maintained an unbiased view and has managed to show things from both sides of the conflict. A true gentleman and one of the journalists I admire most. He also has the most captivating voice, even when describing horrific events, of which there were many. Thanks for the heads up LTL. Much appreciated.

Ah thanks Kaito. I'll send that on to him. He's a great bloke, and really knows his stuff. Kind of like the Attenborough of that situation!

Being unbiased about Northern Ireland is tricky. BBC news certainly isn't as Derry is always referred to as Londonderry in its news programmes.

If it were Derry then the BBC would be accused of having a nationalist bias. So Derry AKA Londonderry?

The official name, recognised by most in NI, is Derry-Londonderry.

Yes I saw that. Official maybe but Derry to some Londonderry to others in day to day use.

Misleading the House is a serious offence …. The normal result would be suspension or resignation. With this bunch of crooks though …. :emoticon-0112-wonde:emoticon-0112-wonde:emoticon-0112-wonde

Johnson's history of lies, deceit and misleading stretch back to his schooldays. His sycophantic government take their lead from him. Corruption and graft throughout.

Peter is incredibly touched by your note, which I just sent to him. Thanks you very much, and hopes Saints get into the Champions League as a result!
