It's that time again, weather is good drag the BBQ out of the garage and get the sausages boiled.

Had a bit too much barbecue food and beer last weekend, will give this one a miss.

Lovely weekend by the look of it, enjoy.

Any good beers in the offing?

Ffs did a BBQ on bournemouth beach on monday but no pics. It was lush. Some fcker outside one of those shed things set it on fire with his bbq and fire engine came rolling down the promenade.

If and when I do another one I'll post pics.

Officially nailed the not using self lighting stuff. The flavour is superb without it. Just cooked pork and chicken over coals and Apple wood. Everyone is loving it.

Currently have salmon cooking on a wooden plank.

I first saw the chimney starter a few years ago in Spain. I think mines paid for itself many times over by not having to use firelighters or pre-soaked coals etc. and like you I definitely think it tastes better as a result.

Not keen on the stink of lighter fluid or regular fire lighters myself.

I see natural lighter cubes. Never used them. Are they good?

Just learnt all about it in 1 min. Feel like the woman in Matrix who learnt to fly a helicopter.

Looks cheap and simple. As long as it's easy sounds like a winner.
