Is that true 999? I'm stuck at a distant family wedding near Worksop and I'm struggling with wi-fi. Where has the Barcelona v wolves swagger gone?
I'm afraid it's true Wubba! We need to show alot more passion, and alot more composure and then hope we get lucky.
Afraid so wubba, it was like watching Wimbledon back in the early 80's. I really hate being negative towards our beloved Rs. But we never seem to have a plan B. Warnock didn't change or try to change anything. It seemed like ' Oh well, it hasn't worked twenty times, let's keep at it.' Sorry mate, but I can't find anything good to say about today. I wished I had taken my kids out instead.
Well I guess it wasn't ever going to be a walk in the park was it? A warnock side should never lack passion that's for sure. I'm so pissed off about the Bolton & Wigan games, real wasted points IMO. Still you could have been stuck in Worksop mate. The high point was the haddock and pancetta chowder with chilli pesto. Ok so it's not 3 points but it went down very well with a nice White burgundy
We were very poor today. Warnock has to take some of the blame for picking the wrong team. If Adel was left out as a punnishment then fair enough, but if it was for footballing reasons, then that's a crap decision. Barton is just not good enough to play in the centre behind the forward. Even when Adel came on he was forced to play on the left so that "golden boy" Joey could stay in the middle. We had no creativity at all, Hall was his usual shocking self and I'm beginning to think the Barton signing was a terrible mistake. He seems to rule the roost completely and I'm not sure all the other players will be too happy about that. I wouldn't mind if he was half as good as he thinks he is, but he ain't!! Playing him in the middle of the attacking midfield 3 was ridiculous. Then Warnock took off a Prem player (SWP) and brought on a Championship player (Smith). Why not try Buzz? At least he may have created something!! Very worried now. We look like relegation candidates on that performance, including the performance of Warnock!! My ratings: Kenny - 7 - Had one dodgy moment when he should have cleared first time, but pulled off a good save near the end. Young - 7 - Steady enough, but prone to the odd error. Ferdinand - 7 - Steady. Hall - 4 - Awful!! Traore - 7 - Good going forward, but still the odd worrying lapse at the back. Derry - 5 - Worst game this season. Left Faurlin with a lot of work to do. Looked out of his depth for the first time this season. Faurlin - 7 - Another good game, but let down badly by Derry. SWP - 6 - Quiet and relatively inafective. Bad touch at times. Barton - 5 - Terrible distribution apart from one good long pass, which is all I can remember from his entire performance. Should never be played in the central "play-maker" position. Mackie - 6 - Worked hard and put in his usual 100%. Not sure he's quite good enough for this level, but I may be wrong. HH - 7 - Great goal and won some headers against man-mountain Samba. Held up play well and looked a good replacement for Betty. Subs : Taarabt - 5 - Looked as though his confidence is low and should have done better when put clear. I wonder if Joey is too intimidating for him (and some others)? Smith - 5 - Did nothing. We were out-passed in the midfield by BLACKBURN!! Says it all really. VERY VERY WORRYING!!! I would play Barton along side Ali and leave Adel to do his stuff between SWP and Betty/Mackie with HH up top. Derry looks shot!!
We did waste the summer due to all the Flavio stuff - we should have been organising and building a side for the Premiership then rather than making desperate changes now. Starting to think that Barton was just a panic buy or something - not sure what he is doing here. Anyway we are where we are and just need to make the best of it...still plenty of games to play.
Not one of the players deserved more than 5 today.Warnock needs to adjust to the prem very quickly or we are going down, not that I will be to sorry about that. I am already fed up with sunday fixtures and constantly seeing or hearing dates for games have changed.
You have to ask what has happened to the fluency and passing game that gave Newcastle, Wolves and Villa so many problems? Something seems to have gone seriously wrong between the Villa and Fulham matches that has turned that confident form upside down...
All those and up to 1/2 time against Villa, we were playing fantastic. What's happened, have we been sussed?
Warnock said after the Villa game that we would have to change our game at home as the one up front wasn't working, then came the Fulham debacle and today's stuttering poor performance, it seems the confidence we had is totally shot. This is similar to that run we had under Magilton when we had three or four stellar performances and then the wheels came off big-time...
Why do we need stay in the prem, last seaons promotion has secured the financial future of the club.I do not want to be the fan of a club that starts each season battling against relegation.I know this may seem starnge to some but I prefer watching champ football.
Not a brain between them .... including Warnock. The long high ball didn't work - especially when aimed at SWP or Adel against a 6'+ defender. Change the idea? No. Just keep playing it and hope for the best. Passing was shocking for the most part. When breaks were made down the flanks there was often only HH in the middle with 3 or 4 defenders. Look around for the cavalry and see them jogging or walking towards the box. I could go on and on, but just like at least half the players this afternoon ... I can't be arsed to do a proper job of it.
@Joey7Barton Joseph Barton Thought we deserved 3 points today, good performance to bounce back from Fulham. Another point towards the 40 needed.......
@philipb1 Philip Beard We still have more points than games played. Another home draw when we deserved more. It will come. #QPR
@jaybothroyd Jay bothroyd10 That's a game we should of won but we'll take the points .... Fans were so loud today well done !! 3 hours ago via Twitter for iPhone
I felt OK for just 3 minutes today my youngest lad remarked that we were knocking it long and the tone was set I agree with all comments so far for this who were there with me had a real insight into exactly how disjointed we were . Mackie really tried hard but there seemed very little passion around. I just happened to be in Z6 and was very to the goal ... It was a complete fluke tbh . Blackburn upped their game and we lost our shape and they knocked around well and deserved their goal . The rest of the match was us thumping the ball long and it made them look good at the back . Bad football all round and I was shocked by the poor standard of the match. Someone needs to be told off If this continues then the spirit that we had in reserve last year could evaporate ... I tell you one thing **** the premiership as this match was of a very low grade and championship teams would have thrashed us and Blackburn today ... It what I always believed the premier league has some very poor teams in it ... There is a little gulf on what I saw today ****e ****e ****e
I was planning to watch the game at two o'clock tonight when it's being shown here, but reading all this sounds like I shouldn't bother. Were we that bad? The TV "experts" said that we shaded it, but needed to do better converting midfield superiority into goal chances. And we are tenth!
