If every footballer was like Jordan Henderson I'd still be in love with the game instead of just Sunderland.
Makes me proud of where he started, and hopefully where he'll finish his career. Such a great and honest professional footballer.
He must see something in this BLM that others don’t so I will see what happens, like I said I just ignore it not bothered either way.
I've not cried this much about football for a long time. ......Oh dear Lord, life can be so sweet sometimes, cant it ! Bless you all !!!
“Absolute rubbish” “clueless” “you’ll never be a footballer as long as I have a hole in my arse” “you be.one in the lower leagues, you’re not good enough” the list of vitriol he was pounded with from around me at the SOL goes on and on, they’re only 5 of the ones I remember. And 2 of them he wasn’t even 19! (But they kept being said after he was) One of my least favourite ex players to watch now mind! Because of his antics on the pitch. Just like John Terry and Roy Keane before him, he basically referees every game! But I would love him here!! Undoubtedly one of the best in his role for years. Fir the idiots who said the above, he’s won the league, champions league and captained England. Also been included in a squad despite not playing fir his club, emphasising his importance. video is tremendous too.
Absolutely fantastic. You can feel the love and pride between them and that hug after they won the cup Just been talking to my son about it, who said he watched it with my 7 year old grandson this morning. Hopefully it will give him a bit of inspiration for tonight when the team he plays for are playing the SAFC academy team at the AOL.
Its a good job that he couldn't hear some of the absolute ****e that idiots around me at the match would shout at him when he broke into the 1st team.
Think he'll get one at some point. Credit to his family and the area and I think charity work will continue. He'll continue to be recognised as time goes on. Not many north eastern knights of the realm from football either.
