In a stadium the sound bounces around so much that 4 sides of the bowl can often be in different sync, it's happened for ever, I can remember abide with me, me, me, at the cup final.

Aye, but the fans are in sync with eachother (and out of sync with the music) and the players are also all in sync with eachother AND the music yet they are in the same stadium .

Really??? I just don't get his game, he's undoubtedly a talented lad, but I'd hate to be remembered as the world champion 'foul drawer' , and that's basically 90% of his game. Just my opinion like, but it's pretty much all he does.

It's really weird. When I'm at the SoL I can hear the pre match music and could sing along if I wanted. For some reason the national anthem seems to played at double speed for the fans compared to the players despite it coming from the same source. It's not exactly in a different time zone or owt. It sounds crap when the fans finish singing it and give the big roar but the players still have a few lines to go. typical England I suppose
