Hopefully the lockdowns will be over and we can get back on the road again ...

... anyone criticising our away support should give their heads a quick shake.

Does anyone know of a site that gives the away attendance figures for all English games ? I saw one a number of years ago but can't remember what it was and can't find anything now. I like messing about with figures and spread sheets and at the time thought I'd work out which club's supporters travelled the most pro rata miles , collectively or individually. I'll do it for the coming season if I can get those figures.

Nice one Ozzy, cheers. That’s a start , but I remember a site that gave all the individual games- that way I would get a better idea of miles travelled . Say if we averaged the same figure as another club , our mileage would be higher for our fans to go to 5 London clubs than would be for a midlands club to go to those London clubs, if that makes sense. Also interested to see how we compare to premiership

Original thought was just the actual amalgamated physical miles travelled by those who did travel - and therefore a season figure per supporter of a club. To factor in allocations would mean some way determining that for example London Rovers give 2000 away tickets, but could we have taken 3000 or 5000 or whatever, whilst saying SouthEast Wanderers took 2000 to that club but only because they were 30 miles away, otherwise their normal is only a few hundred. Might be a bit too much for my little brain, but I'll see what I can do. Whatever , it won't and can't be an exact conclusion, eg it assumes every away supporter starts at their home ground - how would you know where the Man U fans had come from lol

Sheffield Wednesday, Bolton, Ipswich, Portsmouth, Charlton, us.

Didn't think we'd see that in the third tier a few years ago...

Much rather we were in championship as a minimum. I really hope this is last season we have to endure this godforsaken league. Onwards and upwards<cheers>

Once did Leeds hanging onto the ropes in the back of a Magogs removal van. Funny funny days and the lengths you would go to for a day out on the lash elsewhere to follow your club.
