Ancelotti's stock has plummeted in my mind with all of this. He's behaved rather shabbily.
I know people will say "we'd all move for a better job, or more money" or whatever, but that isn't universally true - and I think he could have acted with a bit more integrity.
The jibe at the club's ambition - if true - is completely uncalled for. It suggests that he never really believed they could have become more competitive, and if he didn't believe in it how could anyone else? Shades of Woy's "know your place" comments with us.
I actually feel sorry for Everton supporters right now. Apart from the arsey ones, of course.

Let's face it he was there as a vanity appointment for Moshiri and, in my mind, under sufference lured only by the obscene wages. He was never there to head up a project and see it through despite any words he may have said to the contrary. It was the strangest appointment in football. We have no idea what went on behind the scenes either that may have forced him out. I think his ex wife who lived in Spain, recently passed away. I don't know if there are children that he wants to be closer to in Spain. So I'm not judging.
