I assume that Norwich and Brentford finished in the automatic promotion positions and Watford missed out completely on promotion. 6 Norwich players, 3 Brentford players, 1 Reading player, 1 Blackburn Rovers player and no Watford players. I have never had much respect for the PFA, but this selection makes them look ridiculous. It gives the impression that the choices (if they were made by the players) for the PFA Championship Team of the Year were done in the middle of the season.
Rob Elliot (goalkeeper) has signed a new two year contract with Watford (according to Adam Leventhal in the Athletic).
