You might be right but we don't have Slater. I can see Smallwood doing a job if the lineup suited his game, depends if Terry can manage different strategies for different types of game.

Agree that Slater starts...which is why he has been
However he doesn’t play for us now does he?

That is really sad, I thought we'd signed the next Ryan Giggs when he first joined (in terms of football prowess, nothing else)

This is a transfer thread...... Suggesting I think we should sign Slater.

    Apologies if it's too complex...

Is his father the ex Bolton keeper? I assume that's what you mean by similar trajectory to Kasper?
Caught a bit of him Will playing the other week and thought for a minute it was his dad, trying to work out how old he was!!

Blades supporting ex-Boss of mine suggested he [Stewart] was one of the best players he'd seen, when he terrorised them at Bramhall.... Injured soon after.

He was a raw talent, a lot like Wilks. After his injury, he was never the same and Bruce didn't give him the time of day as he didn't fit 3-5-2. Being carted off on six-month loans didn't help his development at all.

Until he got crocked he looked unplayable at times - shame how it ended for him.

Keep your sarky **** act thank you. You are advocating ditching one player and talking like we have already signed his replacement, when we clearly haven’t. Sheffield United have a new manager who may like the look of Slater and want to keep him. A point you seem to have missed.

We all eat, **** and sleep
    But Choice and opinion
for me are the only two things
    that separate us from every
    other living creature
Unless of course if you post

Losing a player to Luton for nothing is pretty disappointing. Plus he’s going to have to play in the ****hole that is Kenilworth Road until the new stadium is built.
